The
Explosive Blast Simulators by Explotrain use a blended mixture
of oxygen and propane ignited in an open chamber to achieve
the sound level and simulated blast effects required to replicate
a variety of threats such as IEDs (including all types of
VBIEDs), incoming artillery and indirect fire, as well as
UXO for EOD training. The effects of the simulated blast are
safely directed upwards while radiating the high noise levels
associated with live explosives. The X-02™, X-03™,
and X-04™ are safe to use near vehicles, buildings or
windows and eliminate the fragmentation hazards of explosives
and the burst discs/containers of compressed air devices.

Our devices,
while extremely loud, are completely safe to use near structures,
buildings and even windows. Do not place anything directly
overhead of the Simulator however. Our
Simulators completely eliminate the hazards of Class 1 Explosives
as well as any fragmentation hazards associated with
explosives or compressed air devices using burst containers.
